CTAE SHOWCASE LAUNCHES NEW SITE FOR 2ND ANNUAL EVENT
The 2nd Annual CTAE Showcase has transformed to provide a Virtual experience in light of the restrictions due to COVID season. The showcase will be open to all CTAE students in 5-8th grade who participate in the Career Pathway courses with STEAM Teams. This includes Animation for the 7-8th graders and Film and Photography (Digital Media) for the 5-6th graders. If last year was any clue as to the types of presentations and products we expect from our scholars, then we are super excited to see how we’re able to translate the lessons and teachings remotely. The 2021 CTAE Showcase will be judged based on a rubric and involve a compilation project which each student must present.
This year’s supporters and sponsors for the CTAE Showcase include Dekalb Agriculture, Tech & Environment Charter School, INC., Art Institute of Atlanta, Konsole Kingz, Digital Dance Culture, Universal Phoenix Group, Blender and more. To better illustrate and track the activities of the showcase, a new website, www.ctaeshowcase.org, has been created. The event will be on the Hopin platform and is scheduled for December 11th, 2020.
